Discussion:

Genlisea pusilla Warm., Vidensk. Meddel. 1874: 11. 1874. Type. Brazil (C).

Genlisea pulchella Tutin, Jour. Bot. 72: 309. 1934. Type. British Guiana, Kaieteur Savanna, Tutin 667 (BM, K).

I have not seen the type of G. repens but the description agrees so well with the type specimens of G. pusilla and G. pulchella and the other material cited that I have no doubt that it is the same. G. repens and G. pygmaea differ by little more than the difference in indumentum (the same may be said of G. guianensis and G. sanariapoana) but no intermediate forms have been seen although they occur together on the Kaieteur savanna.
