Discussion
Froes 23439 and Ducke 1868 have spines and tendrils. There is a typographical error in one of our previous papers (6:16)4: “Froes 21710” should read Froes 21740.
Fruits and seeds of this species resemble those of S. poeppigii and S. mattogrossensis.
