Description
Species Description - Of se. Va. and occasionally reported from elsewhere, differs in its longer awns (5–8 mm) and in having mostly 6–8 cauline lvs with the nodes covered by the sheaths. It may reflect hybridization with no. 7 [Bromus latiglumis (Shear) Hitchc.
