Description
Distribution and Ecology - Hevea is largely confined to the Amazon Basin (Hylaea), with slight northern extensions into the Upper Orinoco and Casiquiare basins and into British Guiana. The northernmost occurrence is at Rio Sipapo, Terr. Amazonas, 5° northern latitude and Sierra Ichun, Bolivar, Venezuela, 4°46' northern latitude.
