Amanoa guyanensis var oblonga Benth. in sched.
Type. Inter Barcellos at S. Gabriel Amazonas, Brazil: R. Spruce 1973. Not seen.
Easily recognized by the black, fine puncticulation of the lower side of the leaf. Further collections are required to show the taxonomic worth of this character.
