1. Lundia densiflora de Candolle, Prodr. 9: 181. 1845. Type. Brazil, Para, Martius 3240 (G-DC, M). This species occurs throughout Amazonia. Lundia stricta is clearly synonymous since I have found both pubescence types growing on the same plant in Brazil and Colombia.
