Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA: Amazonas: frequent along Rio Casiquiare just above Capihuara, alt. 130 m; woody vine climbing 3-7 m; fls white; 24 Jun 1959, Wurdack & Adderley 43164; along Rio Casiquiare just above Piedra Guanare, alt. 110 m; woody vine climbing 3 m; fls white, 25 Jun 1959, Wurdack & Adderley 43180.This predominantly British Guiana species is also known from the State of Para in Brazil, from the southeastern corner of Colombia, and from the upper Rio Negro in Brazil; the present collections are the first to be reported from the adjacent region in Venezuela.
