4. Distictella obovata Sandwith, Mem. N. Y. Bot. Gard. 9: 362. 1957. Type. Guyana, Maguire & Fanshawe 32637 (K, NY, US). Endemic to the Guayana Highland, this species is extremely common in disturbed roadsides of the forested slopes around kilometer 120 south of El Dorado just north of the Gran Sabana.
