2. Arrabidaea egensis Bureau & K. Schumann, Mart. Fl. Bras. 8(2): 65. 1896. Type. Brazil. Amazonas, Poeppig 2895 (not seen). This species is known from very few collections and is barely separable from A. japurensis (DC.) Bur. & K. Schum. of which it may prove a pubescence form. Its fruits are still unknown.
