Bolivar: Chimanta Massif, Bonnetia forest, northwestern part of summit of Apacara-tepui, 2125-2300 m alt, 13 Apr 1953, Steyermark 74895; Central Section, rocky places along "zanjones" bordering savanna below Upper Falls above Summit Camp, 1940 m alt, 7 Feb 1955, Steyermark & Wurdack 586; occasional near Camp 8, at base of lower escarpment, talus cloud forest, northwest slopes of Churi-tepui (Muru-tepuí), 2050 m alt, 28 Jan 1953, Wurdack 34253; open dwarf forest, north-facing slopes on summit above valley of Caño Mojado, 2030-2150 m alt, 21 Feb 1955, Steyermark & Wurdack 1039.
