9a-1. Ledothamnus steyermarkii A. C. Smith, Fieldiana Bot. 28: 451-452. 1953. subsp steyermarkii Fig 77 K-T. Known only from the type collection, Steyermark 59484 (holotype F; isotypes NY, VEN), this species is characterized by its branched setae of the leaves, pedicels or calyx margins.
