Description:Latin Diagnosis - Folia caulina, vulgo 25 cm excedentes, poro ventrali conspicuo; amphoris externe pubescentibus, pilis bifidis; zona lineari infra appendice late prominenti segmentis perianthii late lanceolatis, albidis vel roseis, per anthesin vulgo 5-6 cm longis, acutiusculis, ad maturitatem 7-9 cm longis.

Distribution and Ecology - Distribution. BRAZIL. Amazonas, Serra da Neblina: plant 1.2 m high, corolla white, stamens yellow, style green, common, 1300-1700 m alt, Serra Pirapucú, 27 Jan 1966, Silva & Brazdo 60932 (NY, VEN, GH, F, IAN, RB, K, US, S). VENEZUELA.
