  • Discussion

    The species might be confused only with certain forms of P. northropiae Urb. which, notwithstanding, has emarginate leaves, one pair of cataphylls, and widely different spikes. It is noteworthy by its stomata large for the genus and easily detectable with a mere hand lens.
