    Distribution and Ecology - VENEZUELA. Cerro Moriche, Rio Ventuari, in savanna, Territorio Amazonas, 150 m, 17 Jan 1951, B. Maguire et al 31005.Widely dispersed in Brazilian cerrado, this species has been found recently in the Venezuelan rainforest; but in this habitat it is scanty.
