    Distribution and Ecology - Distribution. A well marked scandent or subscandent shrub coUected only on the mesas of the Gran Sabana. VENEZUELA. Estado Bolívar: Ptari-tepuí, Steyermark 60852 (holotype F, isotype US); forested slopes Abacapa-tepuí, Chimanta, 750-1000 m elev, 5 Apr 1963, Steyermark 74824 (NY, VEN); common subepiphytic vining shrub.
