    Distribution and Ecology - Distribution. A tree, usually 15-30 m tall, which extends from Venezuela to French Guiana mostly below 900 m. GUYANA. Upper Mazaruni River Basin, frequent in forest bordering Haieka Savannah, E side of Haieka River, 2 miles E of Chinowieng Village, 740 m alt, tree to 12 m, calyx green, corolla tube green, lobes blackish brown, 22 Aug 1960, Tillett et al 45265 (FHO, NY).
