Discussion
Diacidia duckeana is the second species of the genus. It is adequately set off from D. galpbimioides Griseb. which (from description and photograph of the type) has more strongly pubescent narrower oblong-elliptic leaves with acute or acuminate apices and bases, petioles 2-4 mm. long, cymes 3-flowered, and petals subequal.
