Description:Distribution and Ecology - Frequent on white sand, border of small savanna in the vicinity of Base Camp, 160 m. alt., Cerro Sipapo (Paraque), Maguire & Politi 28035. The species is known from Amazonas, Bolivar, and Falcon, in Venezuela, as well as from British Guiana, Surinam, and Brazil (Minas Geraes).
