Description
Distribution and Ecology - In moist sand among rocks 15 km. above San Fernando, Rio Atabapo, Rio Orinoco, Uaguire 29256. The species is known only from this and three other collections: Williams 13858, 14084 from the Rio Atabapo, and a specimen without data in the Herbario Nacional de Venezuela which is probably a duplicate of one of the Williams collections. A. C. Smith 2280, cited as this species in Dhytologia 3: 182 (1949), proves to be E. tenuifolium.
