Description:Latin Diagnosis - A typo lobis foliorum caulinorum rotundatis (baud obtusis vel subacutis), lobulis parvituberculatis vel rarius sublaevibus, a caule 45-60° patentibus, penanthio saepius 4-carinato (2 carinis ventralibus), bractea et bracteola feminea intima dentiferis, apice pilosis recedit.

Discussion:Frullania repandistipula has been previously known only from tropical regions of Asia. The Queensland material differs in several features, not very important taxonomically.
