Description:Latin Diagnosis - Suffrutex robustus, 2-3 m altus caulibus dense velutinis vel sericeo-velutinis; stipulae persistentes, 3 mm longae, 1 mm latae; petioh 0.5-1 cm longi; rhacides 10-15 cm longae; foliola 7-17, ovata vel oblonga (1.5-)2-3(-4.5) cm longa, 1-1.5(-2.3) cm lata, utrinque dense sericea; petioluh 0.5-1.5 cm longi. Racemi 10-12 cm longis; peduncuh 2-4 cm longi; pedicelh 1-1.2 cm longi; bracteolae 5-6 mm longae; labio vexiUare calycis 2.3-2.5 cm longo, 4-6 mm lato; labio carinale 2.8-3 cm longo, 4-6 mm lato; lamina vexillari 1.8-2 cm longa, 1.4-1.8 cm lata unque 4-5 mm longo, 1.2 mm lato; alae 1.4-1.5 cm longae, 6-8 mm latae auricula 1 mm longa et lata; petala carinae 2.3-2.5 cm longa, 4-5 nun lata auricula 1.5 mm longa et lata; tubus staminalis 2.4-2.8 cm longus, carina exsertus 1-2 mm; ovarium 6-7 nun longum, 1 mm latum; stylus 2-2.8 cm longus, exsertus tubo staminali 3-4 mm.

Distribution and Ecology - Distribution (Fig. 11). BRAZIL. Known only from the type locality in the state of Ceara. Habitat and phenology. Unknown.
