Description
Distribution and Ecology - A rare species confined to acid rocks in the splash and high water level zones of melt-water streams (Fig. 7). Its distribution was mapped by Schofield (1972), who noted it from the Yukon. Also known in the Territory from Emerald Lake (Hess Mountains) and the Tombstone Mountain area (alta). Occurring at Keele Peak with Hygrohypnum polare, H. alpinum and Schistidium rivulare.
