Description:Species Description - Herbs. Leaves: sheath linear-lanceolate, ca. 20 X ca. 3 cm;blade at least 50 X 10.5 cm, caudate at apex. Inflorescences heads, subtended by 2 foliaceous green bracts, each to 11 cm long, the scape at least 30 cm long. Flowers: corolla yellow Fruit a 1- or 2-seeded capsule.
