Description:Species Description - Plants epiphytic, appearing brown and lifeless when dry but turning green after rehydration. Rhizomes long-creeping, 2 mm diam., covered with black scales with pale margins, the scales 2 mm long. Fronds widely spaced, pinnatifid; petiole 3-10 cm long, black, covered with same kinds of scales as rhizome; blade with linear segments, the segments 10-20 X 3-5 mm, the adaxial surface glabrous, the abaxial surface covered with scales smaller and lighter colored than those of rhizome; veins not visible. Sori round, numerous on each segment, near margin.

Distribution and Ecology - In cloud forest and in disturbed areas of lowland forest.
