    Species Description - Plants terrestrial. Rhizomes erect, short, 5 mm diam. Fronds dimorphic, pinnatifid. Sterile fronds with petiole 2.5- 4 cm long, brown, glabrescent; rachis with brown hairs 1 mm long; blade oblong, acute at apex, 8-17 X 2-3.5 cm, the segments entire, round at apex, with free veins. Fertile fronds nearly similar to sterile fronds; petiole 15 cm long; blade linear, 9-11 X 0.5-0.6 cm.

    Distribution and Ecology - Involucres conical, laterally winged, the lips short. In lowland forest.
