    Species Description - Fronds bipinnate, with terminal pinnule different from others; petiole pale brown, quadrangular; blade with 1-4 pairs of subopposite pinnae and a single terminal pinna, the pinnae ascending, the largest 9-25 x 1.5-3 cm, very gradually reduced toward apex; pinnules variable, round to quadrangular, in 15-40 alternate or subopposite pairs, slightly ascending, the largest 12-18 X 6 mm, the upper ones reduced. Sori continuous along margin. Scattered but common, in lowland forest understory on slopes, also found in cloud forest.
