Distribution and Ecology - General Distribution. Endemic to Puerto Rico.Distribution in Puerto Rico. Known from the type locality and one other. Quebradillas: Barrio San Jose, along middle to upper course of Quebrada Bellaca, Proctor 40671 (SJ).Habitat. In sheltered limestone ravines at low to lower middle elevations (50-250 m), very rare.
