Distribution and Ecology - General Distribution. Greater Antilles except Cuba; Guadeloupe, Martinique, Tobago, and Trinidad.Distribution in Puerto Rico. O f widespread occunencein the northem part of the island west of San Juan; recorded from Arecibo, Barceloneta, Bayamon, Ciales, Corozal, Florida, Guaynabo, Hatillo, Isabela, Manati, Quebradillas, Toa Baja, Utuado, and Vega Alta.Habitat. Wooded hillsides and thickets, often among limestone rocks, at low to middle elevations (10-340 m), locally common.
