Discussion:Hosackia decumbens var (?) nevadensis Wats. (1876); Syrmatium nevadensis (Wats.) Greene (1887); L. nevadensis (Wats.) Greene (1890); Hosackia nevadensis (Wats.) Parish (1917); L. douglasii var nevadensis (Wats.) Ottley (1923). ? H. heermannii auct. pro parte. ? H. tomentosa auct. pro parte. L. argophyllus auct. and in herb. The interposition of Lotus nevadensis var davidsonii cuts var nevadensis into two pieces, but I can discern no difference between these except in northern California where var nevadensis passes into var douglasii.
