Description:Distribution and Ecology - Distribution. Southern Venezuela, at elevations of 1275-2300 m, on sandstone table mountains in Territorio Federal Amazonas (Duida, Huachamacari, Paru, and Yutaje), and locally on Ilu-tepui in Estado Bolivar.

Discussion:Pagamea garryoides Standi. Field Mus. Bot. Ser. 7: 420. 1931. The calyx-lobes vary from 4-6 and generally possess a single dark gland in the sinus at the base of the calyx-lobes. The leaves vary in shape from ovate or ovate-elliptic to oblong-elliptic, oblong-obovate or oblong-oblanceolate, in length from 2-5.5 cm long, and in width from 1-2 cm.
