    Species Description - Tree. Leaves odd-pinnate with opposite or alternate, asymmetric, estipellate leaflets. Stipules none. Flowers in usually loose, terminally clustered, pendent racemes; bracts and bracteoles small and caducous. Calyx broadly campanulate with four subequal lobes ± tube. Corolla subpapilionaceous with clawed petals; standard suborbicular, much broader than wings and keel. Stamens free, the filaments swollen at base, of alternating lengths; anthers uniform, dorsifixed. Pistil stipitate with 4-5 ovules; stigma minute, capitate. Legume stipitate, oblong, flat, tardily dehiscent.
