Arbol; hoja verde oscura haz, verdoso grisacea enves; caliz verde con horde bianco; corola blanca; filamentos blancos; anteras amarillo claro; aromatica; Hoja del Rio Call, lado derecho del Rio Pichinde, en La Palma, vertiente oriental, Cordillera Occidental, Dept. del Valle, Colombia, at alt. 2500 m, 24 July 1946, Jose Cuatrecasas 21682 (holotype US). Known only from the type collection.
