Discussion:M. wrightii Gray S Arizona. Desert grassland; canyons and hillsides, with mesquite, pinyon-pine, oak. 3500-6500 ft. (June) July-Aug. (Sept.). Var. wrightii usually has the larger leaves of the two varieties, leafstalk often exceeding 5 cm; pinnae more than 1 cm.
