    Species Description - Viscid, pubescent shrub. Leaves simple, oblong, to 3 cm long, 2-3 mm wide, slightly mucronulate, uninerved; gland basal. Flowers in solitary to fasciculate axillary heads, 4-5 mm diam. Legume ca 4 mm wide.

    A. heterophylla Hort. Not previously reported. This name is taken up for several specimens marked A. heterophylla Willd. The protologue, indeed, cites U.S. cultivated gatherings which I have seen.
