Discussion:Acaciella shrevei Britt. & Rose Acaciella lemmoni (Rose) Britt. & Rose Acacia angustissima subsp. lemmoni (Rose) Wiggins Arizona and adjacent Sonora. I previously (Isely, 1969) took up var. shrevei as a robust form of the Huachuca Mts. differing from the common var. suffrutescens in the possession of nerved leaflets. Subsequent field work in Arizona suggests the distinction is not completely tenable. Some populations with distinctly nerved leaflets are otherwise assignable only to var. suffrutescens. I tentatively maintain var. shrevei but it is possibly only of ecotypic significance. Emended distinctions are as follows:
