Camps two collections (E-4041, from between Santa Rosa and Joyagshi; E-4113, from near Pimo) are both from the Chimborazo-Cañar border quite close to the type locality, Tipococha; the agreement with Markgraf’s diagnosis is excellent. E-4041, of which there are 5 duplicates, would be an excellent future choice for a neotype, if (as seems probable) no duplicates of Diels 563 can be found.
