Discussion
The first Ecuadorian records again emphasize the linkage with the upper Marañón rain forest flora, as well as with that of southeastern Colombia. The collections are: Camp E-1038, from the Cordillera Cutucú, Santiago-Zamora; and Harling 3621 (S), from Santa Rosa, Río Negro, Napo-Pastaza.
