    Species Description - Filaments 2-2.5 µ diam., closely intertwined, forming dense, microscopic, conical fascicles; trichomes 1-1.3 µ diam.; cells quadrate to 2.5 times as long as the diameter; apical cell blunt, contents pale aeruginous, homogeneous, rose-pink.

    Distribution and Ecology - Growing among other Myxoplryceae on damp rocks about ten kilometers north of Utuado, no. 1032 b, type.
