Description
Species Description - Trichomes short and circinate, making several complete turns, otherwise as the species.
Distribution and Ecology - Growing about four kilometers north of Mayagüez, no. 1329 y, type. Specimens of this form have been seen in collections under various numbers but the cause of the peculiar habit of rolling up I am unable to explain.

Discussion
Comparable perhaps with Oscillatoria gloiopliila Gran, but is smaller and lacks the granules at the cross Avails reported in that species.
