Monographs Details: Perebea guianensis subsp. hirsuta C.C.Berg
Authority: Berg, Cornelius C. 2001. Moreae, Artocarpeae, and (Moraceae): With introductions to the family and and with additions and corrections to Flora Neotropica Monograph 7. Fl. Neotrop. Monogr. 83: 1-346. (Published by NYBG Press)
Discussion:Plowman noted for his collections 6669-6671, that the staminate inflorescences are borne on the upper branches and the pistillate ones on the lower branches. In most collections the leaves are relatively narrow. In a few cases (such as in Kayap 234, Palacios 3484, and Schunke V. 6403) the leaves resemble those of subsp. pseudopeltata.
