126r. Senna pendula (Willdenow) var. r., known to us only through Prance et al. 13490 from Rio Purus opposite Labrea, Amazonas, Brazil, is similar to the last in gross facies, but has an extremely massive gland between the first pair of leaflets, little pentagonal staminodes ±1.5 x 1 mm and carnosulous sepals encountered nowhere else in S. pendula sens. lat.
