Distribution and Ecology - On open rocky slopes and summits in cerrado or campo rupestre, 1200-1800 m, apparently endemic to the Tocantins-Paraná watershed between the head of rio S. Felix and Alto Paraíso, in lat. 13°20'-14°S, in e.-centr. Goiás, Brazil.— Fl. V-VIII.
