Description:Distribution and Ecology - Known with certainty only from the type-collection, which resembles var. platycarpa in spicate inflorescence but differs in the densely hispid (not smooth) valves and smooth (not aculeate) replum of the pod, but specimens from near Lago de Managua in Nicaragua, in flower only, may turn out to be the same.
