Variety Description - Notable in its species for stature (1.5-3 m) and glabrous venulose pod.
Distribution and Ecology - In sand-packed fissures and stony slopes on and about sandstone outcrops, ±1050-1150 m, localized on the crest of Sa. do Espinhaço to the northwest of Diamantina in n.-centr. Minas Gerais, Brazil.—Fl. X-III.
