11. E. glaziovii (Bentham) Mesquita (1999: 127, figs. 23, 24).
The pod of E. glaziovii differs from that of E. schomburgkii only slightly in superficial rugulosity of the epicarp, but the capitulate flowers are indeed homomorphic, as Mesquita discovered. Mesquita described the pod of E. glaziovii as glabrous, but every sample of it that we have seen is brown-strigulose, especially when young and toward the inner (dorsal) suture.
