Description
Description - A var brevistipita Rauh bracteis florigeris post anthesin patentibus differt. Leaf-blades densely lepidote on both sides. Branches 40 cm long, simple, the sterile base shorter than the fertile part; spikes lance-oblong, 27 cm long, to 5.5 cm wide, ca 20-flowered. Floral bracts 35-40 mm long, spreading after anthesis and exposing the rhachis. Sepals 30 mm long.
