Habitat
Open sagebrush-grass slopes. Locally common.

Description
Flowers usually sky blue, the throat with a violet cast and the tube becoming white at the base, the palate white, sometimes with a few sparse hairs; staminode white to pale blue with pale yellow hairs at the tip, included; anthers blackish with white hairs. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
