Habitat
Moist forest valleys in the afternoon fogbelt.

Description
Plants spreading, or often climbing to 2.5 m through shrubs. Stems and sepals often with purplish hairs, especially if in full sunlight. Leaves dark green, subnitid above; very pale below, or purplish-tinged if in full sun. Sac of corolla bright sulfur-yellow; upper lobe covering organs very deep yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
