above ABC Falls. Along stream and extended line between Mazaruni
River and Ayangaik Mtn. Elevation: 800 m. 6°4'N 60°37'W. Gallery
forest. Rich, humid forest with large trees, abundant in mosses &
epiphytes. Reddish brown clayey soils & white sand. Terrestrial fern
growing at creek side. Rachis light green turning purple. Fertile frond
with round sori on underside of frond; densely scattered.
