    shrub. Shrub 1.5 m in early secondary vegetation, young foliage glossy red, flowers greenish-white, pendent. Use: leaves mixed with those of Clibadium (Daly et al. 8805) and macerated in blocked streams to stun fish. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
